Jim Thurman, PE, CEM

President

Jim is a licensed Professional Engineer with experience in mechanical, electrical, and plumbing design, project management and facilities management. Jim’s experience includes project conception, cost estimating, engineering and design, quality and cost control, and energy auditing and analysis. This experience allows Jim to effectively design and coordinate performance contracting projects that maximize energy efficiency, comfort, and value to the customer. Jim spent 12 years working for CTS, and previously worked as a Solutions Design Leader with Johnson Controls, Inc. working in the K12 and Higher Education markets. Jim also served as a Facilities Engineer and Construction Manager at Southeast Missouri State University. Prior to that, Jim worked as a Mechanical Engineer with Marcum Engineering, LLC in Paducah, KY. Jim ensures that best practice engineering methods are utilized to drive the desired outcomes.
